Year 2 had a fantastic start to our new topic in maths! We are learning about addition and subtraction and they used different methods and apparatus to solve addition and subtraction sums. The children especially loved playing the ‘count to 100’ game. I was super impressed with them all!

We have been planting broad bean seeds in science. We are investigating which seeds grow and thrive in  different locations with various light, water, space and nutrients.

We have been identifying leaves at forest school, using an identification key.

Today we have been enjoying our music class! The children have played guess the sound with clapping noises! The children loved using drums and a wide range of instruments to make rhythms.
